Last weekend was the Race for Life event in Chester in which my wife and her sister ran in memory if there Nannie. I was stood at the finish with our boys and took some shots of different people finishing. I liked this shot because its not just the outfit that’s pink, just thought it looked like a sort of posed shot as well even though I’m quite a distance from her.
Another from the Southport Air Show, the plane these guys were in circled so many times, I was getting neck ache waiting from them to jump. Well didn’t get a shot of them jumping out, but I got a few I’m pleased with.
The most awesome machine at the Southport Air Show, this Eurofighter is one seriously loud machine.
We went to Southport Air Show today, I’ve got loads of shots of the Red Arrows, and loads of the Typhoon. But this is one of my favourites. Its The Blades, apparently made up of Pilots who previously flew with the Red Arrows. They were bloody brilliant.
This is one of the participants in the Agility Competition held at Cholmondeley. Its called a Eurocopter Squirrel and is used to train the RAF, this one is from RAF Shawbury. The guys that train in these things go on to fly Apache and Chinook helicopters, to name a couple anyway.
This was taken at the 1936 Pageant of Power, sorry only joking, last weekend actually. Can’t tell you what Ferrari this is because it wasn’t in the programme either. If you’re interested here’s a regular shot of this car being worked on from the Flickr Group.

I found out the celebrity owner after the event as it is being sold by Cheshire Classic Cars and I visited there website to see if I could find out more about it. Even better I’ve got a shot of my son getting his sticky finger prints all over it!
Went to the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power at the weekend. This is the first car Schumacher ever won a Grand Prix in, 1992 was the year at Spa Franchorchamps. We saw loads of great cars and you will be seeing lots more on here probably.
Vernon Kay of Radio 1 and loads of shows on ITV received an Honorary award at work on Thursday. I was helping film the graduation ceremonies but also had the camera with me. Yesterday saw Gary Neville of Manchester United receive one too.
